This act of appreciation works for a few reasons. As a customer and writer, examples of great sales funnels that I’m grateful for. Based on the principle of give and take, I think I want to Pay it forward and help out Jonathan and Grasshopper in the future either through referrals or by writing this post. This thank you card will be on my wall from now on and everyone else who comes into the office will see it and maybe we'll have a conversation about it. This is free advertising that I'm happy to provide. It was such an awesome experience to actually get one that I can now understand why entrepreneurs and marketers recommend this as a strategy. Of course most companies don't do this because handwritten notes don't scale very well or so the skeptics may think.
